Economy Hurts Like A Rock in My Shoe

How is everyone coping with this mess? Does it freak you out to see your 401K and brokerage accounts dwindling? Are you spending less and saving more? Are you switching to more conservative investments for your children’s college funds or riding it out?

My Grandparents grew up during the depression, and I know that had an affect on them. They always paid for everything with cash, they never invested in stocks, and they exercised the mindset of, ”waste not, want not.”

How do you think this crisis will affect your children’s relationship with money as adults? Do you find yourself telling them, “No” more often? What is Christmas going to look like in your house this year?

    I am trying to consolidate in every way and want to live a completely sustainable life style one day where I hardly depend o this stupid free trade economic system.

    Hi Michelle, I love used stuff. I collect mid-century furniture and household goods, so thrift stores are my fave!
